Community Outreach
Cultural Festival
We are excited to host our Second Annual Cultural Festival on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025.Our first annual Cultural Festival was a blast! Our church and community is extremely diverse and we thoroughly enjoy celebrating that; it’s a taste of heaven! Members and friends will host tables of their home country, featuring homemade treats. Participants receive a “passport” and collect stickers/stamps of different countries while getting savory tastes of foreign lands. Visitors will also enjoy face painting, engage with local community services, bounce house, popcorn, watch a program of cultural dances, and hearing a summary of each culture. Please join us and bring friends! 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Dates: July 9, 16, 23, August 6, 13 and 20 from 7:00-8:30 PM
Together, we’ll dive into the Book of Daniel, exploring how Daniel and his friends remained steadfast in their faith while living in Babylonian exile. Their story offers powerful insights for standing firm as Christians in today’s world.
This 6-week bible study on the book of Daniel will begin July *9th in the Life Center at First Alliance Church. All are welcome!

Over the years we have partnered with the PA Central Food Bank for various service projects. Small groups have gone to help sort food. Volunteers helped during the pandemic to pack boxes. For Advent season 2022, we did a non-perishable Food Drive and donated over 100 pounds of goods (about 12 paper grocery bags). We’re so thankful for the tangible impact CPFB has in our community.
Global Kids Harrisburg
Mark and Cheryl started attending FAC the fall of 2022. Having previously served the C&MA through Envision in Atlanta, they moved to Harrisburg to be closer to their daughter and her family. They bring a huge heart to reach non-native born families by “empowering global kids for life and service”.

Front Yard Mission
First Alliance Church is collaborating with FrontYardMission to receive coaching, workshops and be equipped by FYM leadership to develop a ‘love your neighbor’ mentality within our congregation.
